New Zealand emerged victorious over Pakistan by 7 wickets in the 4th T20 International match. The match, held at [venue], was a testament to the competitive spirit of both teams, with remarkable performances from key players.

Earlier in the day, after being put in to bat first the Pakistan innings started on a low again as they lost Saim Ayub in the second over of the game. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan added 51 off 31 for the 2nd wicket partnership. The batters found it difficult to get boundaries but managed to rotate strikes frequently. The Pakistan innings was in a sorry situation but a late surge from Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Rizwan for the 6th wicket partnership adding 32 off the last 17 helped them post a fighting total. Mohammad Rizwan was the best batter for the visitors as he smashed 90 off 60 deliveries. Mohammad Nawaz played a good cameo right at the end with 21 runs off 9 deliveries as well. The Kiwi bowlers were spot one with line and lengths. Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry picked up a couple while Adam Milne also took a wicket.

New Zealand's stand-in skipper Mitchell Santner won the toss and opted to field first. Mohammad Rizwan's unbeaten 90-run knock paved the way for Pakistan to post 158/5 on the board in 20 overs on a tricky wicket. The Kiwis lost three wickets in quick succession but Glenn Phillips and Daryl Mitchell slammed an unbeaten stand of 139 runs for the 4th wicket to put their team 4-0 up.

The Kiwi innings started on a low with Shaheen Afridi picking up a couple in the very first over. Finn Allen, Tim Seifert, and Will Young departed in a jiffy as the hosts were 3 down for 20 inside 3 overs. Glenn Phillips and Daryl Mitchell then built up a solid partnership by striking each ball on its merit and they were aided by the Pakistani fielder who were poor in the field. The duo added 139 runs for the third wicket partnership off 93 deliveries. Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips remained unbeaten, scoring 72 and 70 respectively. 

After being 20 for 3, the Kiwis get over the line yet again, thanks to a brilliant third-wicket partnership between Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips. The hosts have defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets as they go 4-0 up in the 5-match T20I series. 

 Zaman Khan to Daryl Mitchell, SIX! THAT IS SMACKED! Zaman Khan bowls it full and in the slot. Daryl Mitchell lofts it over long on and the ball made a sweet sound after connecting with the bat. The ball lands straight into the stands for another maximum in the over.

Zaman Khan drops it short and over off. Glenn Phillips stays back and cuts it over cover. The ball is high in the air and it has gone the distance needed as well. It lands beyond the cushions for a maximum.

FOUR! Full again and in the middle. Daryl Mitchell picks it up over the bowler's head and keeps his elbows high. The ball bounces away to the fence for another four runs. Victory is within their reach now.

SIX! Haris Rauf bowls it on a length and around off. Glenn Phillips swings his blade wildly and connects well as well. The ball sails beyond the cow corner fence for a maximum into the stands.

Shaheen Afridi to Daryl, Mitchell! A poor delivery by Shaheen Afridi as he drops it on length and on the leg side. Daryl Mitchell picks it up well and sends it beyond the fence at deep square leg. The 100-run partnership also comes up.

Shaheen Afridi to Glenn Phillips, A bit short and over off. Glenn Phillips cuts it on the bounce and sends it to deep point. He runs a single and gets to the other end.

 Mohammad Nawaz to FOUR! Daryl Mitchell is into his groove now. Fuller one in the middle, Daryl Mitchell reads it well and nails the reverse sweep past the short third fielder for a boundary. 

Mohammad Nawaz to Daryl Mitchell, Sahibzada Farhan with a costly miss. Tossed up on off, Daryl Mitchell looks to come big to the party as he smashes one straight to long-on as Sahibzada Farhan jumps to gather it and drops it down and fielding problems continue for Pakistan.

Shaheen Afridi to Glenn Phillips, Bangs it short and over the middle. Glenn Phillips is got by surprise and he pulls it but can't get the connection right as it hits his forearm. The ball deflects off his helmet and almost carries to the keeper. A mandatory concussion check will follow where the physio will come out to make sure Glenn Phillips is alright and not in any discomfort.

Shaheen Afridi to Will Young, OUT! TAKEN! BRILLIANT CATCH! Shaheen Afridi drops it short and angles it around off. Will Young tries to pull and clear the infield but he fails to get the elevation and ends up hitting it flat to Mohammad Nawaz at mid-wicket. Nawaz is quick with his reflexes and takes a superb catch. Shaheen Afridi is delighted as he gets his third wicket of the day and Pakistan has put New Zealand under immense pressure here.
